If you are having trouble connecting to UO-WIFI, you might need to delete/forget an existing wireless/Wi-Fi network profile on your laptop or device. Your device stores connection information from Wi-Fi networks it has previously joined, so it will automatically try and use this information to join that network again whenever it’s in range. If you don't want it to rejoin the network, or you want it to join with a different password, follow these steps to make your device forget that network and its password:

Windows 10

You can delete a Wi-Fi profile from a Windows 10 laptop in two different ways:

  1. Click the Wi-Fi button in the bottom-right corner of the taskbar. This opens the list of networks available in your area.
  2. Right-click on the name of the network that you want to remove.
  3. Choose the Forget option from the pop-up menu.
