Talk to your lecturer if you need to contact the other students in your class by email. Paper co-ordinators have access to a couple of different distribution channels (StudentMail Paper Groups and the email facility in Blackboard) that are generally restricted, but they can request access for you if you have a valid reason to use it, for example, if you are the class representative.
