International students
The University of Otago uses the Western Union Business Solutions payment portal. You can pay your tuition, accommodation, and insurance fees from your bank account using a telegraphic transfer, or domestic transfer.
You should make your payment as early as possible and well before the deadline to allow the Revenue Management Office time to supply a receipt. The receipt can be used as proof of payment of fees for your student visa application.

Due dates for fees
If you don't pay your tuition fees in full, or apply for a government student loan (domestic students only) by the due date, you will incur a late payment fee.
Students enrolling in February for a course of study of a full year or longer will need to pay tuition fees for the full academic year before starting their study.
