When setting up your email on a mobile device, you need to use your original student email address (the one with your username at the start) for the account settings. Once your account is set up, any emails you send will still be sent from your primary email address, i.e. whichever email address you send from when using StudentMail online.
Setting up the Outlook app on an Android Phone for StudentMail
- If you do not already have Outlook, download the Microsoft Outlook app:
Google Play Store - Go to Settings.
- Press Add Account.
- Press Add an Email Account.
- Enter your full student email address, then press Continue.
- Log in using your full student email address and related password, then press Sign In.
- Your StudentMail account is now added to your phone.
Setting up the Outlook app on an iOS device for StudentMail
- Open the Outlook app on your device or download it from the App Store:
App Store - If you haven't used Outlook before on your device, tap on Get Started, otherwise open the menu in the upper left corner (three horizontal lines).
- Go to Settings.
- Press Add Account.
- Then press Add Email Account.
- Enter your full student email address and press Add Account.
- Enter your student username and password (the same as you use to log in to eVision, Blackboard, etc.), then press Sign in.
- You are now signed in to Outlook and StudentMail is ready to use on your phone.
