You can use your email's "read receipt" option to confirm that the message you've sent via multiTXT has been received. In Outlook, the Request a Read Receipt checkbox can be found under Options when you send a message.

If you use another email software application and want to know how to request a read receipt, contact AskOtago.

Your multiTXT group administrator can also find out the status of your message through the multiTXT website. Contact AskOtago if you don't know who your group administrator is.

You can find out if your text message has been received, but you won't be able to tell whether someone has read it because text messaging systems do not provide this information.
