Distance learning involves study using course material, interacting with lecturers and other students in the class and completing assessments.

Some papers involve attendance at on-campus residential schools. Papers which do not require attendance at any course component in New Zealand are marked with a globe icon in the prospectus.

You require internet access to study by distance learning. Most courses provide their course material and interact with students through a web-based learning environment such as Blackboard or Moodle and use web conferencing (e.g Zoom) for live interactions.
