Dunedin is very easy to get around, and most places you’re likely to go are either in walking or cycling distance, or accessible by bus.
Public transport
Dunedin has a good public transport system with a flat-rate fare of $3 per bus journey. You can also use a Bee Card for a discounted fare and free transfer within 45 minutes of getting off. See the ORC website for more information:

Car parking
Parking is at a premium around the University campus and the surrounding streets.
Public parking around campus
On-street parking is available around the campus with parking limits from five minutes to four hours. Parking wardens are active in the University campus area, so take a note of the parking limits to ensure that you aren't ticketed.

Residential college parking
If you live in a residential college, there is some parking available. This can vary between the colleges and is limited. Most residential colleges are a short walk to campus.
