- Café Albany—ground floor of the Link/Information Services building, Cumberland Street
- Frankly Sandwiches—ground floor of the Link/Information Services building, Cumberland Street
- Hunter Café—in the Hunter Centre opposite the Dental School, corner Frederick and Great King Streets
- Plaza Café—situated in the University Plaza building alongside the Forsyth Barr Stadium, 130 Anzac Avenue
- St David Café—ground floor in the St David Lecture Theatre Complex, Cumberland Street
- Te Mātiti—ground floor of the Otago Business School building, corner Clyde Street and Union Place East
- The Lab—ground floor, Centre for Innovation, 87 St David Street
- Union Grill—Union Food Court, Link/Information Services building, Cumberland Street
- Wasabi—Union Food Court, Link/Information Services building, Cumberland Street
The University Union also operates other hospitality and retail outlets on campus:

- Campus Shop South for 150th memorabilia, stationery, cards and gift wrap—west entrance to the Link/Information Services building
- Marsh Study Centre and café—697 Castle Street, by the Botanic Gardens
- Staff Club, the University staff café, restaurant, and events venue—corner Union and Castle Walks in the middle of the Dunedin campus
- Union Bar/U-Bar (formerly Refuel), a venue for live music, DJ, and other activities—downstairs from the Union Food Court, Link/Information Services building, Cumberland Street
- Visitors' Centre and Gift Shop for University-branded merchandise—corner Cumberland and St David Streets
