Once you've completed your course enrolment declaration you'll receive an email with your username.

Follow the steps to supply or confirm your New Zealand mobile phone number. This will enable your University username and you'll receive the associated password by text message.

After this you'll need to use your University username whenever you log in to eVision, and any emails from the University will be sent to your University email address. This address is printed on your student ID card in the format username@student.otago.ac.nz. StudentMail is web-based and you use your University username and password to log in.

You can set up your student email to forward to your personal email address.
