The NSN you provided will be recorded in our system, even though it may appear to be missing from your eVision portal. Your details may not fully match against the National Student Index (NSI), or the Index may not have records of the documentation required to verify your personal information.

When the University of Otago is unable to verify a student's identity through the NSI, we are required by Government to obtain formal physical evidence of your full legal name, date of birth, and citizenship/residency status.

Once the certified (witnessed or notarised) documentation is received and your personal details are verified for both your University of Otago record and the NSI record then your NSN will appear within your eVision portal as "Active".
