The Pacific On-Campus Experience is an opportunity for Year 13 Pacific students to learn more about the University of Otago by travelling to Dunedin, attending the Dunedin Tertiary Open Day, and living in a residential college for three days.
The Dare to Succeed Academic Mentoring Programme provides academic mentoring aimed at helping local Pacific secondary school students with their future plans. The Pacific Islands Centre work in collaboration with the local schools to demystify tertiary studies for Pacific students and their communities. The Pacific Islands Centre hosts these students on campus four times during the year. It introduces students to the various areas of studies available to them.
