The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) advertises a Record of Achievement service, where students can view a combined list of qualifications completed in New Zealand:

All universities in New Zealand regularly report a standard set of data to the Ministry of Education and Tertiary Education Commission, including data on students who have completed qualifications. The Ministry of Education is responsible for forwarding these data to the NZQA for inclusion on the NZQA record of achievement database. It can take one to two years for a university qualification to appear on the NZQA record of achievement, and the University of Otago is unable follow up on any delays to these processes.
The official record of your Otago completion is your testamur and academic transcript. Employers and other parties can confirm the validity of your Otago awards via the Otago Graduate Database or by requesting a link from you to your official academic documents via My eQuals.
