Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships for International Students are scholarships available to international students who have not previously been admitted to the University of Otago and who are planning to undertake full-time, full-year undergraduate study. These scholarships are only open to international students.

2021 Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships for International Students (New Zealand)

This scholarship is available to support international students to remain in New Zealand and commence study on campus at Otago in 2021. It includes:

NZD$10,000 contribution towards the tuition fee on an eligible programme.

Guaranteed place in University-owned accommodation (subject to a satisfactory reference and completing an accommodation application by the due date).

This scholarship is available to support international students to commence their studies with Otago online in 2021. It provides a NZ$10,000 contribution towards the tuition fee for an eligible undergraduate programme offered online in 2021.

This scholarship is available to support international students who are offered a place in an eligible programme and will be starting full-time, full-year undergraduate study for the first time at a New Zealand university in 2022.
