Free Office 365 software

You don't need to buy Microsoft Office for your computer. As a student you are entitled to five Office 365 licences for personal use for the duration of your study. See the University of Otago's Office 365 website for easy instructions on how to download and install the software:

Free Anti-virus protection

All computers can get viruses, but a good anti-virus software will keep your computer safe. We recommend Sophos Home for Windows and Macs. It's free and easy to install:
