Free Microsoft/Office 365 software

You don't need to buy Microsoft Office for your computer. As a student you are entitled to five Microsoft 365 (formerly known as Office 365) licences for personal use for the duration of your study. See the related answer for information about how to download and install the software:

All computers can get viruses, but a good anti-virus software will keep your computer safe. We recommend Sophos Home for Windows and Macs. It's free and easy to install:
