The University of Otago's Faculty of Dentistry in Dunedin offers a comprehensive suite of dental services to the public. Over 60,000 treatments are undertaken each year, everything from routine check-ups to the most complex oral surgeries.

You may be seen by teaching staff or a trained student (operating under the supervision of qualified professionals). You will receive high-quality dental care using the latest evidence-based-practice techniques. Please see the 'information for new patients' page to find out about enrolling as a patient for your first visit.

There is a charge for treatment, which your clinician will discuss with you before treatment begins. 

The Faculty of Dentistry’s Walsh Building is at 310 Great King Street Dunedin and is currently being refurbished. The Clinical Services Building is operational and is located behind the Walsh Building. The patient entrance is at 33 Frederick Street.
