The Faculty of Dentistry offer a comprehensive suite of dental services to the public. Over 60,000 treatments are undertaken each year, everything from routine check-ups to the most complex oral surgeries.

You may be seen by teaching staff or a trained student (operating under the supervision of qualified professionals). You'll receive high-quality dental care using the latest evidence-based-practice techniques. Please see the information for new patients page to find out about enrolling as a patient for your first visit.

There is a charge for treatment, which your clinician will discuss with you before treatment begins. You may be eligible for discounted treatment through one of our SDHB contracts, with a Community Services Card, or if you are a WINZ beneficiary. The Patient fees page includes a rough guide to the costs of treatment and payment options.

The Faculty of Dentistry is at 310 Great King Street, Dunedin.
