Information on how to apply for Special Consideration in Final Examinations is available on the Examinations website. You can also contact the University Information Centre for advice.
The deadline for Special Consideration in Final Examinations is five calendar days from the date of the last examination for which you were affected. The Health Declaration is the primary document required for applications on medical grounds.
Candidates seeking special consideration for all programmes in Dentistry, Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Radiation Therapy, Medicine, Pharmacy, and Physiotherapy, and postgraduate programmes in Health Sciences, should apply to the relevant department, school or faculty office.
Candidates in all other programmes should apply via eVision.
It is also possible to apply for Special Consideration in Internal Assessment. This can be approved by the relevant Head of Department, and will normally only be granted where impairment is significant.
