You can create rules to help sort your email in StudentMail. This means that if the email is received from, sent to, or has something particular in the subject, it then automatically gets put into a particular folder, redirects to another email, or is deleted.

To set up a new email rule:

  1. Click on the Settings cog (top right of Mail screen) then Your app settings.
  2. Click Mail > Automatic Processing > Inbox and sweep rules.
  3. In the Inbox rules, click the + sign, then use the form to choose what emails to apply the rules to and what should happen to those emails.
  4. Click Save.
