You can choose to disable Sophos PureMessage if you don't want to use it to filter spam from your University of Otago email account.
If you opt out of using Sophos PureMessage you are fully responsible for managing your own spam. Any suspect attachments that look like they might contain a virus will still be blocked by the system for your safety.
To switch off Sophos PureMessage spam filtering you will need to obtain your login details from the Sophos PureMessage website. These are different to your University of Otago username and password.
If you have multiple addresses you will need to opt out for each address. For example, disabling the filter for firstname.lastname@example.org does not disable the filter for email@example.com
