All mobile device purchases require approval from your Division/Service Head (i.e. Vice-Chancellor, Deputy-Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Director of Human Resources, Director of Māori Development, Director of Planning and Funding and the Registrar and Secretary to Council).

Approval requests should be submitted via your line manager for escalation through the appropriate reporting lines.

Please ensure you have approval in writing from your Division/Service Head before you submit your purchase request, and attach a copy of that approval to the request.

You can use the online finance forms to:

  • Purchase a new mobile phone if you are starting a new mobile phone account 
  • Upgrade your mobile phone if you are an existing University mobile account holder 

You will be prompted to log in with your University username and password which will populate the form with your contact details:
