You can synchronise a new computer or device with Syncplicity Sync & Share by following these instructions:
- Log in to your Syncplicity Sync & Share online account and click on the Install tab.
Syncplicity Sync & Share online account
If you have the highest level of security you will not be able to log into the online web-based account. You will need to contact your departmental IT support staff or ITS to get the appropriate installation file for the Syncplicity Sync & Share client software. Please advise whether you are using a Mac or Windows computer when you make your request.
- Download, install, and log in to the Syncplicity Sync & Share client for your computer or mobile device. Alternately for mobile devices you can download and install the Syncplicity client directly from your usual app store.
- When prompted by the Syncplicity client, allow it to create matching folders on your new computer or device for the Syncplicity Sync & Share folders you want to synchronise
Please note that Syncplicity should not be installed onto network drives, so if the installer tries to save to your network drive (e.g. your H: drive) you will need to choose another location.
- Syncplicity Sync & Share will notice that the new folders are empty and start adding and synchronising your files.
