The sorts of software that you can use collaboratively during a University of Otago videoconference depends on the service you're using. Most videoconferencing supports the video capture of a laptop screen to share information with other participants, so you can use PowerPoint or play a video clip to enhance your session.

You can work on a collaborative document during your videoconference by storing it in shared data storage such as Google Docs with access to all conference participants, and any edits made can be viewed on the laptop capture.
