The number of papers offered each year will vary, but as a guide approximately 60 papers are offered. Many papers are unique to Summer School, others are core components of degree programmes.

All papers have full academic credit. One 18 point paper counts as full-time study, though not all papers are 18 points (Law papers are 15 points so students may need to take two papers to be considered full-time with StudyLink if their main enrolment period is not confirmed at the same time).

Papers are taught over six weeks instead of the usual thirteen weeks of a semester.
