The University has a corporate travel insurance policy underwritten by Allianz Global Assistance. Travel insurance is only available for University of Otago staff on business or private travel, and for University students on University-funded travel. Students travelling on the University's travel insurance policy need to have their travel and insurance booked through the online portal by a departmental administrator.
A uniform premium of $4.95 per day per person will apply to all travel.
You can arrange travel insurance using the online application form (please note that the form is unable process payments when using Firefox, so another browser should be used). Log in using your staff username and password. Payment can be made for any private travel through the credit card payment facility.
