The University of Otago offers undergraduate Entrance scholarships for students who are enrolling to study for the first time for first-year (100-level) undergraduate study at Otago.

These are open to students who are New Zealand or Australian citizens or permanent residents or international students who have completed Year 12 and have completed or are in the process of completing Year 13 at a New Zealand school, or an equivalent foundation level course at a New Zealand tertiary institution.

If you haven't studied at a New Zealand secondary school, or are not enrolled in a Foundation Year programme in New Zealand, you can enquire online about enrolment at the University of Otago:

If you're an international student and you've completed an international qualification such as 'A' Levels, International Baccalaureate, or ATAR and have achieved excellent grades you MAY be invited to apply for a New Frontiers Scholarship. Please do not ask to apply, an "Apply Now" button in eVision will appear for invited applicants who are nominated by the International Office after completing enrolment at the University of Otago.
