In order to be considered for Uni Flats accommodation, you first need to register, and then apply online via eVision using the Te Puna system.
Generally it's not possible to choose who you live with. The Uni Flats staff try to group students with similar interests and/or preferences together. Ensure you list any preferences on your application form to help with your placement. Uni Flats will use the information you provide to match you with a Kiwi Host and other international students - so make sure you provide as much detail as possible.
There is no close-off date as such, but it is strongly recommended that you complete an accommodation application as soon as possible in order to be considered in the first round of placements.
For semester 1, all accommodation applications received before 15 November will be processed in the first round of placements. For semester 2, all applications received before 20 May will be processed in the first round of placements.
