A Kiwi Host is a New Zealand student, usually undergraduate, who lives in a University Flat (Uni Flats) with the residents.
This gives international students the opportunity to meet domestic students (kiwis), as well as a support person in their flat who can help during their transition into kiwi life. Most Uni Flats have a Kiwi Host.
