If you are not confirmed, you will be given notice in writing from the Director of Human Resources that your employment will be terminated. Staff are usually given at least 3 months' notice.
The Staffing Advisory Committee makes the decision about confirming staff. You have the right to appeal the decision not to confirm your appointment. You will need to lodge a written appeal to the Director of Human Resources within one month of the date of the letter informing you of the Committee's decision.
